The last work by American poet Gregory Corso (1930–2001), which waited over twenty years to be published.
The poems, edited by Raymond Foy and George Scrivani, revise Czech readers' established image of the artist as the author of humorous and ironic poems (e.g., "Marriage") and present him as a serious, introspective poet in anticipation of his own death.
The irony has not disappeared, only become very, very bitter.
