Zimní drak

Every year, the winter dragon takes the snow and ice with him so that spring can come. But this year, everything is different. The dragon has injured his wing and there is no one to take the winter away. When the snow and frost are at their stiffest, the warmth of friendship, imagination and the desire to help come into play.
A book about how after we look past our own fears, sometimes we find only the sadness and pain of someone else. When we choose to help others, a new spring can blossom from our kindness.
The book won the 2014 Jury Prize for Young People's Books awarded by the Austrian Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture in Vienna. It was also shortlisted for the Austrian Prize for Children's and Young People's Literature.
