Tom Waits očima Matta Mahurina

This visually arresting book is a testament to the unique collaboration, spanning three decades, between photographer and illustrator Matt Mahurin and musician Tom Waits. Mahurin, who has photographed magazine covers, album covers, and made music videos with Waits, resurrected film negatives saved for sleep, which became a springboard for exploring his own surreal, poetic, and sometimes dark visions. The images vary from traditional portraits of Tom in concert - but most are richly imaginative scenes in which Waits is more muse than musician. In addition to the diverse images, the book includes a foreword by Tom Waits, an essay by Mahurin on their long-standing collaboration, and twenty original drawings, paintings, photographs, and digital illustrations inspired by Waits' song titles.
