To musí jít přečíst i potmě (Obaly hudebních nosičů 1976-2022)

The publication summarizes almost half a century of Haloun's graphic work for domestic rock, folk and alternative music bands and artists (Jasná páka, Hudba Praha, Hangman's Castle, Michal Prokop, Vladimír Mišík, The Plastic People of the Universe, Vladimír Merta). It is not only an introduction to his graphic work, but also a map of the domestic non-conformist music scene. It presents the author's collaboration with the "grey zone" music ensembles, the alternative scene and the so-called hop circle of musicians over the past forty-five years. In addition to the author's comments and an interview with Jan Mattuš, the book also contains texts by František Štorm and Pavel Büchler. The reproduced works come mainly from the archives of the authors of the graphic design, the Supraphon publishing house, Popmuseum and private collections. Together with Hudba Praha, Karel Haloun was inducted into the Beat Hall of Fame in 2006.
