The book Tata and His Son is the third collection of short stories published by this Czech Jewish author in the Sefer publishing house. These are part autobiographical, part fictional stories that capture one of the most basic human relationships - that of father and son - with humour, nostalgia and irony. The stories are set in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. In addition to the personal and private situations of a post-war Jewish family in Brno, they capture and convey with humour and surprising accuracy the atmosphere of that not-too-distant time.
