Smrt božského Sokrata

Socrates walks through the streets of Athens and calls out to those he finds on his way: Know thyself! Don't worry about wealth! Seek the truth and become a philosopher! This is not to the liking of some Athenians. In court, he is accused of corrupting the youth and is sentenced to ingest a deadly poisonous hemlock. Will he escape? Should a philosopher fear death? Is this an appropriate punishment?
The Death of the Divine Socrates is a retelling of a story from Plato's dialogues Phaedrus, Crito, and The Defence of Socrates.
