Sefer Jecira

Czech-Israeli Hebrew scholar Helena Beinish has compiled a volume containing a new Czech translation of the famous Kabbalistic book *Sefer Yetzirah* from the original. This bilingual edition includes both the Hebrew and Czech texts and is supplemented by a detailed commentary on each verse. The publication also offers a series of commentaries that explore not only the Jewish foundations of the text but also the influence of Greek, Gnostic, and Hermetic contexts, as well as its connection to ancient creation myths. In the conclusion, the author demonstrates the ancient origins of the core of Sefer Yetzirah and introduces readers to the basic concepts of Judaism and Kabbalah. This is a significant original Kabbalistic work, thoroughly researched from both a religious and Hermetic perspective!
