Drawing on his own research, Evžen Panovský provides basic information on genealogical research, drawing also on the possibilities of genetic genealogy, epigenetics, and even the analysis of an individual’s last name. In addition, however, from the perspective of depth and narrative psychotherapeutic approaches, he reflects on what we carry from our ancestors in our psyche and how we can better understand ourselves, for example, through the stories uncovered from the lives of our ancestors.
