The first volume of Jiří Weil's journalism presents works from the author's beginnings to his departure for Moscow in the summer of 1933, where Weil was sent on behalf of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia to work as a translator and lecturer on the basic works of Marxism-Leninism.
