The first of four volumes of a composite retrospective arranged by the author. The Pedestrian Thing (Jaroslav Seifert Prize 1995), already in its 3rd edition, consists only of the introductory section. The following parts - Předpokoje and Priví trojzubce - present the author's poems from the years 1986-1996 and 1996-1998: the vast majority of them are unpublished texts.
