Perly v pavučině - Katalánská poezie napříč staletími

Pearls in the Spider's Web is the first opportunity for Czech readers to become better acquainted with the literary value of Catalan poetry from the thirteenth century to the end of the millennium, which has been neglected or overlooked for various reasons. The collection contains more than 150 poems by almost 60 authors and 17 anonymous authors, with the main emphasis on the presentation of 20th-century poetry by, among others, Josep Carner, Carles Riba, Joan Salvat-Papasseit, Pere Quart, Slavador Espriu, Vicent Andrés Estellés, Miquel Martí and Pol. This book is also a reminder of the work of another important personality - the recently deceased translator Miloslav Uličný (1942-2023), whose work has finally brought these pearls to the Czech reader.
