An incomplete atlas of regeneration attempts to outline possible escape routes from the confluence of crises that accompany the end of the Holocene and the entry into the Anthropocene epoch. A whole range of previously taken-for-granted concepts, values and supports on which we have come to rely in life are being transformed or even collapsing. The radical and accelerating changes of which we are at once the originators, witnesses, perpetrators and victims are bringing new problems. These are the problems associated with the depletion of the biosphere and the loss of biodiversity, climate destabilisation, a global economy dependent on fossil fuels and economic growth, corporate consumerist propaganda, extreme social inequality, the penetration of digital platforms into all spheres of life and the ubiquitous soft manipulation, the crisis of subjectivity and shared values. Heightened productivism and the pressure for discipline, extraction and efficiency have led us to a state of personal, social and planetary exhaustion. This creates the need to find new formulations to address these new problems. We believe that the search for adequate forms of regeneration, renewal and rest must become one of the most important axes of political life in the 21st century. If after fatigue there is no rest and regeneration, there is an irreversible abrupt transition to another state. In other words, collapse.
