Jože Plečnik - führer durch Bauwerke in der Tschechischen Republik

The guide to the Czech realisations of the world-famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik (1872-1957) presents his timeless work for Prague Castle and Lány, including some lesser-known or unpublished interventions, in texts and contemporary photographs by Jiří Podrazil. These works were created in the 1920s and early 1930s in collaboration with President T. G. Masaryk. The book also introduces his other buildings: the Vinohrady Church of the Sacred Heart of the Lord or little-known early realisations. The guide is an expanded and supplemented version of the book that was published on the occasion of the Plečnik exhibition in the grounds of Prague Castle in 1996 and was dismantled within a few months.
