This publication presents Jaroslav Benda as a typographer. Due to his lifelong interest in books and type, his work is presented from a typographic point of view. It is the only section that accompanied Benda in all stages and branches of his creative activity and has not been treated yet. The main part of the book is therefore an analysis of Benda's works in which typography appears. The rest of the broad spectrum of Benda's work, which is not so closely related to typography, is included in the book in a longer introductory chapter, presenting examples for the others.
