Hledání proluk

The collection of works dedicated to Bohumil Hrabal, entitled Searching for the Gaps, aims to contribute to the discussion of the "Hrabal phenomenon", which, despite the rich literature of the subject, still provokes the search for new values and the discovery of new contexts. To participate in the publication (and the previous conference with a panel discussion of translators held in 2014 in Warsaw), representatives of all Polish bohemistic departments were invited (J. Baluch, J. Zarek, A. Gawarecka, J. Czaplińska, J. Królak, J. Goszczyńska, K. Ćwiek-Rogalska, A. Kaczorowski, D. Bielec, W. Soliński), in whose professional interest Bohumil Hrabal's work has a prominent place, as well as Czech literary scholars and historians (J. Pelán, J. Češka, T. Kubíček). The authors of the collection also include two experts and translators of Hrabal's work from Italy and Spain (A. Cosentino and M. Zgustová).
