Hanin kufřík

The story of the siblings Hanky and Jiří Brady, who found themselves alone in Nové Město na Moravě after their parents were deported. However, after a few months, they too were taken to the Terezín ghetto as ten-year-old Jewish children. Thanks to many fortunate coincidences, Jiří eventually survived the war, escaped from the communists to Canada at the age of forty-eight, and in the course of time developed into a respected businessman. But he was unable to find any news of his beloved sister. It wasn't until decades after the war that Tuniko Ishioka, founder of Tokyo's Holocaust Research Center, found him, and was kept awake by a mysterious suitcase bearing the name Hanah. After years of searching, she found George and reconstructed the fate of his little sister.
The book is aimed at primary school teachers, who can use the book in teaching World War II history, and readers of World War II memoir.
