Féerie pro jindy I.

In the legendary Journey into the Depths of Night, Céline introduced words into prose that had never been used in literature; in Faerie for Others, he works in a similarly innovative way with the rhythm and music of language. With their disjointed sentence segments and unique style, these prose pieces are a testament to Céline's immense literary genius. They recount his escape after the liberation of Paris, his stay in Danish exile, his imprisonment, his accusations of collaboration, but there are also reminiscences of Montmartre in Paris, where Céline lived and had friends. The first volume, Féerie for Another Time I, opens with the atmosphere before Céline's departure from Paris and continues with Céline's stay in an individual cell in the death row of Copenhagen prison.
