The booklet was written as a working guide for the production of a paperback book and was first published in 2010. In this booklet, the author outlines the possibilities of using design elements when working creatively with an arts and crafts object. This topic then proved to be a mainstay for his further teaching activities and was also addressed in other publications. In this new and revised edition, the issue of structural elements and the possibility of assembling them into structural units is explained in full in a way that corresponds to the author's latest knowledge. The instructional part of the publication has been supplemented with new texts, and the technical illustrations and graphic design have also been changed.
